Speaking to ANI, Congress MP Shashi Tharoor said the complete lack of updates from Pakistan has made the situation “deeply troubling.” He maintained that although India should avoid commenting on another nation’s domestic matters, the absence of transparency is cause for real concern. “When the rumor mill runs faster than official communication, that silence itself becomes dangerous,” Tharoor noted, adding that the spread of unverified claims has created fear and confusion.
Tharoor also pointed to the emotional plea from Imran Khan’s son, Kasim Khan, who has publicly appealed to the authorities for confirmation that his father is alive and safe. “No one has produced any evidence of his wellbeing,” Tharoor remarked. “This is no longer a question of politics — it’s a human concern.”
