Get ready for an exciting season of I'm a Celeb 2025! As the leaves turn and the nights grow chilly, we're about to dive into a thrilling adventure with some incredible celebrities. But here's where it gets controversial... some of these stars might just surprise you with their choices!
The Jungle Awaits!
With autumn in full swing, it's officially I'm a Celebrity season, and this year promises to be a wild ride. Among the famous faces entering the jungle, we have a diverse mix of talents, from actors to musicians and even a former Lioness.
The launch show on November 16th introduced us to 10 brave souls who are ready to embrace the challenges ahead. Among them are:
- Martin Kemp, the former bassist of Spandau Ballet, who also graced the screens of EastEnders as Steve Owen.
- Ruby Wax, a renowned broadcaster and author with a decades-long career.
- Lisa Riley and Shona McGarty, talented actors from Emmerdale and EastEnders, respectively.
- Kelly Brook, a model and radio DJ who has already conquered other reality TV shows.
- Jack Osbourne, a reality TV veteran and one of the pioneers of the genre.
- Alex Scott, the former Lioness and pundit, who is no stranger to reality TV herself.
- Aitch, the Brit Award-winning rapper with a unique perspective.
But wait, there's more! Two latecomer contestants joined the mix:
- Tom Read Wilson, best known for his role as the receptionist on Celebs Go Dating.
- Vogue Williams, an Irish model and TV personality, who is ready to step out of her comfort zone.
Let's dive deeper and get to know these contestants better!
Tom Read Wilson:
One of the late arrivals, Tom is no stranger to reality TV. He gained fame as a finalist on The Voice UK and later became renowned for his role on Celebs Go Dating. Tom admits to feeling "abject terror" at the thought of entering the jungle, but his mantra is to face his fears head-on. He believes that if fear is the only reason not to do something, it's a sign to take the plunge.
Vogue Williams:
Vogue, the second latecomer, is an Irish model and TV personality. She hosts two podcasts, "My Therapist Ghosted Me" and "Never Live It Down." Vogue, married to former Made in Chelsea star Spencer Matthews, is inspired to take on this challenge to push her boundaries. Her biggest struggle, she says, will be missing her three children, as she's never been away from them for an extended period.
Ruby Wax:
Ruby, the presenter and author, has had a long and successful career on our screens. Yet, she admits that signing up for I'm a Celebrity hasn't quite sunk in yet. Ruby was offered the chance to participate a long time ago but felt it wasn't the right time. Now, she's ready for an adventure and believes the show will allow people to see the real her, as you can't hide in the jungle.
Martin Kemp:
Martin, the former Spandau Ballet bassist, is following in his son Roman's footsteps by entering the jungle. Roman, who finished third in the 2019 series, encouraged his dad to embrace the adventure. Martin admits to being addicted to the show when his son was on it and is now ready to give something back to himself after a non-stop DJing journey.
Kelly Brook:
Kelly, the model and Heart Radio DJ, is a reality TV veteran, having participated in shows like Strictly Come Dancing and The Masked Dancer. However, she always said she'd "never" do I'm a Celebrity. That is, until now. Kelly believes that her experiences with her husband, including participating in Race Across the World and running the London marathon, have given her the confidence to take on the challenges of the jungle. Her biggest fear? Heights, especially escalators and lifts!
Aitch:
Aitch, the Brit Award winner, rose to fame with his viral freestyle "Straight Rhymez." He's hoping his time in the jungle will dispel myths about rappers and raise awareness for Down's Syndrome, as his sister Gracie has the genetic disorder. Aitch believes that his success in the jungle will inspire younger people to pursue their dreams and prove that anything is possible.
Alex Scott:
Alex, the former Lioness, is no stranger to reality TV, having appeared on Strictly and Mission Survive. She admits that her girlfriend, pop star Jess Glynne, thought she was "absolutely mental" for signing up. Alex knows she'll need to push herself to speak up among the big personalities in the camp. Her biggest challenge will be not retreating into her shell and showing her true, outgoing self.
Angry Ginge:
After GK Barry's success last year, ITV has signed another influencer, Angry Ginge. With three million followers, Ginge is excited to take on this bucket list item. He predicts that his fans might vote for him to do the Bushtucker Trials, but he's ready for the challenges. Ginge believes that this experience will be educational, as he's never been away from his phone for more than a week!
Shona McGarty:
Shona, the actor best known for playing Whitney Dean in EastEnders for 16 years, is ready to find her voice away from the script. She's looking forward to being completely herself in the jungle, something her fans have never seen. Shona has been preparing by stocking up on carbs and trying to get comfortable in a hammock, although her makeshift practice didn't go as planned!
Eddie Kadi:
Eddie, the first Black-British comedian to headline London's O2 Arena, thinks this will be his toughest challenge yet. He's had friends who have done the show, like Oti Mabuse and Babatunde, and their stories inspired him to say yes. Eddie is excited to create a daily story for his daughter and hopes to make her the proudest daughter in the world if he's crowned "King of the Jungle."
Lisa Riley:
Lisa, the Emmerdale actor who played Mandy Dingle, is celebrating a special birthday soon and felt it was the perfect time to say yes to I'm a Celebrity. She's been asked multiple times and is excited to tackle the jungle head-on. Lisa believes this experience will make her the best auntie to her nephews and niece.
Jack Osbourne:
Jack, one of the first reality TV stars of his generation thanks to The Osbournes, is ready to take on the jungle. With his father, rock star Ozzy, passing away in July, Jack knows that being apart from his family will be the toughest part. He's been away for nearly two months without a phone before, but this will be a different challenge. Jack hopes to make his family proud.
